O.L.D. Engineering Delighted with Meeting New Contacts
A Made in the Midlands breakfast event has been hosted by O.L.D. Engineering at their premises in Hinckley, Leicestershire on Thursday 2nd February.
O.L.D. Engineering welcomed over 40 guests to their 50,000 square foot premises, which eclipsed the total of guests at their event last year. Joint Managing Director of O.L.D. Engineering, Chris Topp said: “Today has been very successful, we had a very good turnout and met some good contacts as well, and hopefully we can push forwards with those in the coming weeks. We are really happy with the event and would love to do it again sometime.”
Made in the Midlands will be hosting a record number of events this year, to further strengthen the relationships between Midlands manufacturers in a post-Brexit Britain. Chris concluded: “I think these events are really important. You have a lot of social media platforms these days, but it is great to meet people face to face, so that people can see what you are doing and get a greater experience of your company.”
O.L.D. Engineering work in four primary sectors, including: Automotive, Aerospace, Rail and Nuclear. The business was also recently declared Fit for Nuclear (F4N), which is a unique service to help UK manufacturing companies get ready to bid for work in the civil nuclear supply chain. The status also proves to O.L.D. Engineering customers that they understand the expectations of the industry. With comprehensive machining and sub-assembly facilities, O.L.D. Engineering offer a wide range of products, from one-off prototypes to batch runs, and produce complex components in a variety of materials using state-of-the-art multi-axis equipment.
